The below lines are called value tips because these are rather basic tips, these are the tips one can follow depending on their ideology or adding value to their money. Thus these differ from fundamental tips and basic tips.
1. Start saving or investing as early as possible may be in early life, start of the year, month, week or date. even hours are considered wastage after your thought of investing and actually doing it.
2. Think of standard amount for investing say 5% or 10% of your income. This amount is not saving amount, this is the investment. Small line difference exists between saving and investing.
3. Always know the basics before investing in a share like what is the company producing, what is the market cap, competitions, market survival etc
4. Never invest all in same company, diversify/ invest differently in different companies and also different sectors because if sector grows and if you buy valued company shares them the share value definitely grows.
5. Invest in stocks if are ready to bear the risks dont get overjoyed for profits or too depressed for losses.
6. Always maintain stop loss and be ready to accept it. When you prepare your mind for the losses and in the same events your mind reacts positively.
7. Never regret your own decisions instead learn lessons from your mistakes. regression is pessimism which is a huge hurdle for investment.
8. Higher the profit required, the same higher you should be ready for losses. if you want moderate losses then go for Mutual funds which gives moderate returns.
9. Maintain discipline by fixing your investment targets, stop loses and also targets for profit bookings.
10. Dont jump to conclusions on basis of Stock advisers, Do your personal research before investing in shares because advisers are also humans who tends to misjudge the stocks.
